ABOVE ALL….PUT ON THE FULL ARMOR OF GOD    As we read in the Book of Ephesian 6:10-18; we see that God is revealing to us a full suite of armor in which He has designed for us to clothe ourselves in every day.   Picture if you will, a knight in shining armor.  When a knight/soldier is in complete uniform, it is very difficult for the enemy to recognize the person within. Now, picture you as being that soldier serving in God’s army. Are you wearing the full armor of God so that the enemy (Satan) is unable to recognize just who is safely hiding inside?    In just these few scriptures alone, we could branch out into many countless Bible Studies. So let’s begin:Ephesians 6:11   Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.   Put on…some scriptures say YOU put on that whole armor. In any case, this is something we must choose to do. And because God is Spirit, we must walk in the Spirit not the flesh, when clothing ourselves in the armor. In Ephesians 6:12; we read that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood,...but against principalities (the territory of a reigning prince) as in one over cities or countries...against powers (any agent that exercises power as in control, dominion, influential positions) as in local control, religions and traditions...against the rulers of the darkness of this world (one who governs in authority) as in a government, a sovereign or power of command as in the military...against spiritual wickedness in high places (one who controls or governs the world) as in Global Control / World Order   Now, knowing this, we must understand that if we walk in the spirit, we don’t fulfil the lust of the flesh… Galatians 5:16-25   Yes, our warfare can be very carnal (or in the flesh), but in our personal being, if we understand that we can handle a lot of our battles in prayer and the way we walk and act in our lives each and every day, we may experience that fruit of the Spirit which is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance; against such there is no law…2 Timothy 2:3-4   Therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ   No soldier on service entangles himself in the affairs of this life; that he may please Him who enrolled him as a soldier.                                       So rise and shine, suit up and face your day!!
